Can AI agents use your website?
People now hand tasks to agents. Find the price, book the call, start the trial, order the refill. The agent opens a site, reads it and acts. It picks one site, not ten, and it does not go back to one that failed.

Paste your URL. In about 30 seconds you see what an agent can reach and read, and what blocks it.

Picked. When someone asks an agent for a tool, a clinic or a lotion, how often yours is in the answer, pointing at your site rather than a directory or a marketplace.
Completed. Once it opens your site, how often it finishes the task: the price found, the form sent, the slot booked, the order placed.
Both are counts from dated, recorded runs. Every blocker below costs you one of them.
An agent has to get through all seven. The free check above finds the ones a page can show. Real agents find the rest.
"Find me a project tool for a team of five." The agent names your site and sends the person there.
Blockers: your site missing from the sources agents read, claims with no evidence behind them, or a directory or marketplace it finds first.
The agent reaches your site and gets the same page a browser would.
Blockers: a bot manager challenge, a robots.txt disallow, or a CAPTCHA on the first page.
It finds the answer on the page: the price, the plan, the hours, the policy, the spec.
Blockers: text that only appears after JavaScript runs, a price behind "contact sales", a PDF, or a table shipped as an image.
It gets from where it landed to the right page.
Blockers: a cookie banner or overlay it cannot close, a mega menu, or a search box that needs a click it cannot make.
It fills the form, adds the item, picks the slot.
Blockers: forced sign-up, a field that rejects typed input, a date picker it cannot work, or a CAPTCHA.
It sees the correct total, time or terms before committing.
Blockers: a total that changed since the previous step, a pre-checked add-on or subscription, or a surprise step.
The task is complete, or handed to the person at payment or consent. We only go this far in an agreed real-agent run, with your go-ahead.
Blockers: an unsupported payment method, or a challenge only the person can pass.
A real-agent run gives three consumer agents the same five tasks on your site and records every attempt. The tasks are adapted to what your site is for: a store, a SaaS product, a clinic, a service.
| task | the prompt | what usually blocks it |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Find the price | "What does this cost for a team of five?" | a price behind "contact sales", a PDF, a table shipped as an image |
| 2. Find the contact | "Get me a support email or phone number." | a chat widget and nothing else, a form with no address, a CAPTCHA on the contact form |
| 3. Sign up or request a demo | "Start a trial with my details." | forced social login, a field that rejects typed input, a date picker it cannot work |
| 4. Add to cart or book | "Put the 50 ml size in the cart." "Book Tuesday at ten." | an overlay, a pre-checked add-on, a variant picker it cannot work |
| 5. Find the policy | "What is the return or cancellation policy?" | a policy that only appears at checkout, a PDF, two pages that disagree |
You get the step each agent reached, the blocker, the fix, and a re-run that shows it passing.
The same five tasks, run across the top sites in a category, published with dates and recordings. Rankings publish as runs complete. Nothing is published before it is recorded. Evidence & examples.
